Us, Far East Ship Management Ltd, Hong Kong, from here on referred to as FESM HK was established (in 2008) by young professionals who wanted to establish FESMHK independently as a professional group, to offer professional services of Ship Management to various shipowners for commercial vessels, out of Hong Kong with a global view in mind. Since our inception, we have specialized in ship management operation from West Africa to Japan including the entire of African, European, Middle Asian, and East Asian continent.
Our Company is set up, from day one, with well trained, and matured like minded ship management professionals who have honed their abilities in other well known ship management companies, for offering our best ship management services in terms of technical, onboard personnel management, maritime legal aspects and certifications, and day to day operational problems solving so that we operate the ship for all vessel operational and technical duties where the shipowner can concentrate on cargo fixture, freight collection etc.
We give top priority in maintaining top level safety and quality management systems both on the vessels as well as in the vessel. For Safety and Quality Management we are aligned with reputed Class societies such as RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) and Class LR (Lloyds Register of Shipping) As for Business Systems, we are also in possession of the ISO 9001:2008 certification from HKQA.
Being in Hong Kong offers us the advantages of being in one of the most developed shipping industry centres , easy connections with the Class Societies, Flag Administrations , financial institutions, Maritime legalizations, shipping organizations and shipowners.
Apart from ship management services, FESM HK also maintains close relations with Huadao Shipping for commercial operations who are able to offer expertise in ship chartering and pre-fixture and post fixture help in case the Ship Owner has a particular need for this.
